Donate to PAL
A tax-deductible donation makes you an important part of an organization dedicated to changing and improving the lives of children in all five New York City boroughs.
Your donation will be used for programs -- after school, summer day camps, play streets, and sports leagues– and for supplies like books, computers and “where needed most.”
Our children thank you in advance for your generosity.

Special Contributions
Honor/Memorials are gifts in honor or memory of friends and family members. Simply add the names and addresses of individuals you wish to memorialize or honor along with your contribution.
Matching Gifts are made by designating your contribution as a matching gift and including your employer’s matching gift form.
Securities or gifts of stock are welcome donations and a tax savings for you. Please call Jami Landi for complete details, 212-477-9450, ext. 307.
Monthly Giving involves making monthly donations electronically – either as transfers from your checking account or as charges to a credit card. Each month your gift is safely and reliably transferred to PAL from the account you authorize.
Planned Giving is a way to include PAL in your estate planning and contribute to an endowment fund for the future of PAL children. Whatever your gift, it makes you a member of the Robert M. Morgenthau Endowment Society.
Consider these ways of making a planned gift:
Bequests – Provide for PAL now in your will or trust. |
Charitable Gift Annuity – Receive a guaranteed fixed income for the rest of your life of up to 11.3%! |
Deferred Annuity – Defer your annuity income for up to 19 years and receive a fixed income of almost 17% for life! |
Charitable Remainder Trusts – Choose the best way to reach your financial goals . |
Real Estate – Use this asset for gifting and resolving inheritance issues. |
Life Insurance – Give a larger amount than you thought possible or maintain the inheritance amount that goes to your loved ones. |
Pension Planning – Avoid the possibility of double or triple taxation and give more to what you care about and can see and measure. |
Let PAL and/or your financial and legal advisors help you make the right choice to fulfill your personal and charitable goals. Please contact Jami Landi, Director of Development at 212-477-9450, ext. 307 or email jlandi@palnyc.org
PROMISE OF PAL CAMPAIGN
Promise of PAL is a reflection of PAL’s challenge to become the # 1 youth agency of choice in New York City. PAL will accomplish this by providing New York City children with programming that addresses the key elements in the healthy development of the whole child – literacy and academic enrichment, creative expressions, and fitness, and wellness and health education.
PAL is always interested in individuals that care for our city’s youth as much as we do. Listed below are our PAL Partners, individuals who have made 3 year pledges to the Promise of PAL Campaign:
| Robert & Ellen Gutenstein |
| Sylvia Hassenfeld |
| Lenzner Family Foundation |
| Shahara Ahmad-Llewellyn |

THE ROBERT M. MORGENTHAU ENDOWMENT SOCIETY
Named in honor of the Police Athletic League’s beloved Chairman of the Board, the Robert M. Morgenthau Endowment Society honors a special group of PAL donors who have remembered PAL in their wills or trusts or with lifetime income gifts. Through their vision and generosity, these donors have ensured that PAL will always be there to provide boys and girls with the opportunities they need to become responsible and productive adults.
With deepest gratitude, we salute these members of The Robert M. Morgenthau Endowment Society and invite you to join them.
