Staten Island Foundation supports PAL kids
Published 18 May, 2012
This summer, 110 children in the K-5th grade from PS 13 and PS 14 will enjoy seven weeks of PAL’s Summer Day Camp. Thanks to a generous $50,000 grant from the Staten Island Foundation, PAL will be able to provide free camperships to more youth than we could have otherwise and targeted educational support to prevent summer learning loss. The Foundation’s grant provides sole funding for a certified teacher to work with students on small group, academic enrichment activities that build important grade-level skills. Thanks to devoted partners like the Staten Island Foundation, PAL’s Summer Day Camp is a special place where learning and fun are mutually IN-clusive!
