Programs

The Police Athletic League (PAL) serves New York City boys and girls with recreational, educational, cultural and social programs. Young people, ages three to 21, build for the future with a place to learn, grow and dream.

Featured Programs

After-School

Childrens' Services include PAL After School (PAL Smarts, PAL Arts, PAL Fit and PAL Kids Events). More than 3,000 children in 1st to 8th grades participate in academic, arts & recreation program.

In-Step

The In-School Training and Employment Program (In-STEP) isan academic enrichment, job readiness, leadership training program.

Sports and Recreation

From track tournaments to basketball, PAL provides summertime activities, nearly every single day of the week, for New York City children. The PAL Sports Department organizes over 1,300 sports teams.

Summer Day Camp

Stimulate learning, Foster creativity and Facilitate an appreciation for Cultural Diversity... Welcome to our summer day camp program.

Summer Play Streets

Over 100 free Play Streets in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx and Staten Island. PAL closes off city streets to give children safe, supervised places to play.

Truancy

The Police Athletic League in partnership with the NYPD and the Department of Education work with young people picked up for Truancy and seeks to identify and resolve issues.

Youth Link

Youth Link program aims to reduce the risk of recidivism among juvenile delinquents in NYC.
