Help PAL

Planned Giving

You can make a planned gift by leaving a bequest to the Police Athletic League, Inc. in your will or trust, or making a charitable gift that pays you a lifetime income now and supports PAL in later years. When you support PAL with a planned gift, you establish a legacy for the future of PAL kids and become eligible for membership in the Robert M. Morgenthau Endowment Society.

Consider these ways of Planned Giving:

Bequests – Provide for PAL now in your will or trust and defer your gift until after your lifetime.
Charitable Gift Annuity – Receive a guaranteed fixed income for the rest of your life of up to 11.3%!   (See Rate Chart below.)
Deferred Charitable Gift Annuity – Defer your annuity income for up to 19 years and receive a fixed income of close to 17% for life!
Charitable Remainder Trusts – Choose the best way to reach your own financial goals while helping PAL kids reach theirs.
Real Estate – Use this asset for gifting and resolving inheritance issues.
Life Insurance – Give a much larger amount than you thought possible or maintain the inheritance amount that goes to your loved ones.
Pension Planning – Avoid the possibility of double or triple taxation – give more to what you care about and less to “Uncle Sam”.

THE ROBERT M. MORGENTHAU ENDOWMENT SOCIETY

Named in honor of the Police Athletic League’s beloved Chairman of the Board, the Robert M. Morgenthau Endowment Society honors a special group of PAL donors who have remembered PAL in their wills or trusts or with lifetime income gifts.  Through their vision and generosity, these donors have ensured that PAL will always be there to provide boys and girls with the opportunities they need to become responsible and productive adults.

With deepest gratitude, we salute these members of The Robert M. Morgenthau Endowment Society and invite you to join them.
