PAL and P.S. 78 Vanderbilt School enjoy a partnership committed to the school motto, “Rise to the Challenge, Achieve to Succeed.” We infuse a variety of social, recreational, educational, and cultural activities with a strong emphasis on responsibility, respect, and safety. These after school activities enable children to develop and enhance team building, communication, problem solving, and artistic skills. We are constantly designing and implementing programs that enable children to develop and enhance these skills through activities that are challenging, engaging, and fun.

Within the surrounding neighborhoods of Stapleton and Clifton, we offer service to a diverse ethnic blend of African, African-American, Caribbean-American, and Hispanic families. As a youth development after school program, we uphold our responsibility to develop services that will fit the unique needs of the Stapleton community while fostering positive relationships with adults and other kids.
