Volunteer

PAL is able to maximize its impact on New York City youth thanks to the efforts of more than 2,000 dedicated volunteers.

Every year, these enthusiastic individuals and groups support the day-to day needs of our participants, serving as mentors, tutors, special events assistants, teaching artists, sporting event support, and workshop facilitators. Together with our staff, the NYPD, and the law enforcement community, PAL Volunteers support and inspire New York City youth to realize their full potential as productive members of society.

PAL recruits individual volunteers and corporate teams to assist with service projects and special events for New York City youth throughout all five boroughs.

Individuals, Groups, and Corporate Teams have volunteered with a variety of PAL initiatives, including:

·        Mentoring programs for young men and women
·        Summer Day Camp Carnival
·        Sporting Event Support
·        Renovation projects at PAL centers
·        Back-to-School supply drives
·        The Annual PAL Holiday Party
