PAL is so excited to share news of our Cops vs. Kids Virtual Talent Show. The first of-its-kind event will be hosted by PAL’s long-time supporter and partner, star of stage and screen Tony Danza, and will be judged by the cast of the hit show Taxi. We want to share with you a bit of what goes on behind the scenes in preparation for such a star-studded event.
With performances from PAL’s amazing teen actors, a great deal of hard work goes in to putting together such amazing performances.
PAL’s programs are designed to engage young people in artistic and creative spirits, and to encourage them to showcase their talents. After-school participants learn about illustration, music, poetry, theatre and dance. PAL also hosts special events, craft contests, dance competitions, poetry jams, and showcases. Just recently, PAL named our Harlem Center participants as the 2021 Showstoppers champions for their winning dance routine!
Our upcoming Cops VS. Kids Talent Show is in support of PAL’s incredible acting program. They work with students across the city, building community, developing participants artistic skills, and even helping students achieve their higher education dreams.
