Spring 2021: Here at PAL we recognize the value of building STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) skills for our kids. In this blog post we would like to highlight some of PAL’s programs designed to help our young people gain confidence and knowledge in these all-important areas.
MAY 2021: PAL is so excited to share news of our Cops vs. Kids Virtual Talent Show. The first of-its-kind event will be hosted by PAL’s long-time supporter and partner, star of stage and screen Tony Danza, and will be judged by the cast of the hit show Taxi. We want to share with you a bit of what goes on behind the scenes in preparation for such a star-studded event.
Spring 2021: Spring has sprung in New York City and there is no better time to try your hand at a new activity. How about vision-boarding? PAL’s College Access Program (CAP) did just that! Participants worked on setting goals and building confidence in their virtual vision boarding workshop. The virtual vision boards showed off their unique inspirations, aspirations, and personalities in creative and colorful collages.
